y name is Charlie Miller, and I am happily married to a wonderful woman, Jessica. We have a stepson Xavier. Also, I have a son, Shannon, who has blessed me with three grandkids. Travis was my second son. He passed away in 2005 but blessed me with one grandson, and finally, my
last child, Megan, has given me three grandkids. So, I have a total of seven grandkids. PAW PAW loves them all!
I still live in Jennings, Louisiana, a small community in South Louisiana; folks here are amiable for the most part, but just like everywhere else, there are some not-so-pleasant things. About five
years ago or so, I’d been researching living off the grid in case of the worst-case scenario. Watching
the news was depressing and made me very concerned about my family and friends; if something
were to happen to me, I wanted to ensure my family and friends could survive without me around.
